Hi Kath and Sal: Firstly, Sal, glad you were able to be treated at Kaiser for you knee issues. As Kaiser members, we both concur with your opinion of that HMO. Monika had both knees fully replaced last year, and could not have been happier with her surgeon and his team as well as her Physical Therapist post surgery(s). Thankfully, you were treated before your time in DC. Kath, sorry about you issues with the bike but, as the Frawleys used to say “God send us no worse!” Your comments about how impressive DC is were absolutely right on. No matter how we complain about the politics, when you get to the capitol, you can’t help but be imbued with a sense of awe and pride in the country. 1 Constitution still in place along with transfers of power at the executive and legislative levels taking place from day one without a shot being fired.
